Basic life energy is the self sustaining inherent energy of a cell or an organ, which has the capacity to function on its own, without the aid of food, water or air energy.

For example, till the child is born, the lung is a heavy and solid mass, lying inside the chest wall. When the child is born, the lung begins its function on its own by expanding and drawing into the air energy.

Simultaneously, large intestine also begins its function by passing stool. But for this inherent energy potential, functional activities of an organ can not take place.

The function of the basic life force is to self sustaining the normal life activities of a cell and to protect it against all evil forces.

When poisonous substances like drugs, which act against the direction of the life force and thus not in tune with the biological activities of our system, enter the cells, the basic life energy begins its activity against them.

Liver is an important organ in detoxifying any poison that enters the blood. During this process liver exhausts its energy much faster because the medicines are continuously and repeatedly administered.

As the liver gets exhausted in its basic life energy, it produces symptoms like lack of appetite, a feeling of vomiting and tiredness and giddiness ensues.

These are inevitable side effects of any medicine that enters our system. Ignorant of this, modern medicine administers various drugs to counter each of the side effects and further deprives the liver of its energy. From this stage onwards starts a more profound medically introduced disease, which involves the entire system, crippling an individual for life.

Generally the bacteria are present on the surface of our skin, intestinal tract, and respiratory and urinary passages. But they do not grow in excess as to cause infection as long as the vitality of the skin or the organs is preserved.   In case there appears a weakness in an organ, or, there is a loss of integrity of the skin due to injury, the vitality and resistance of the cells are lowered. To overcome this the number of bacteria increases in order to enhance the immunity of the devitalized cells. At this stage of bacterial growth, there may be mild symptoms of infection. This is only temporary and heals spontaneously because of the growing local immunity, along with the increased bacterial growth. Any interference in this natural growth of bacteria caused by applying antiseptic lotions will stop the immune mechanism from functioning and lead to a sure and progressive infection.

Question :

But, antibiotics do play a role in containing and curing over whelming infections. How can you simply reject them?

Antibiotics, in fact, have a very little supportive role in containing overwhelming infections. In the first place, the patient has enough vitality and resistance to withstand the infection without which he would have succumbed to it. Even if you flood him with antibiotics, in the absence of his natural resistance, you cannot achieve anything. For example, in patients who are debilitated and who are poor in vital strength due to advanced cancer or diabetes, even a simple infection becomes fulminant and ends up in gangrene resulting in their death. This will never happen if only the patient has enough immunity and resistance.

It means you are beginning to understand. Let it be very clear to us.

The first effect of antibiotics is giving a death blow to the immune system of our body.

Secondly, since the antibiotics are chemicals and not in tune with out system, they are poisonous. The moment a medicine enters the body, the body system rebels against it and rejects it. The body strains its every nerve to eliminate it from the body through all possible outlets-through faces, urine, sweat, and saliva. Sometimes they are excreted through the milk and exhaled through the breath also. This is severe form of exertion on the part of our system and in the process it loses much of its basic life energy.

Allopathy can’t be a subject worthy of serious study as its basic principles are illogical although it claims to have ‘twin concepts’ constituting a strong base for its success and popularity.

Now let us consider the ridiculous twin concepts.

First let us take the “Bacterial Theory”.

According this theory, bacteria are essential germs necessary for our survival since the presence of germs in our body provides us the resistance and immunity against the disease germs.

Now let’s consider how bacteria and germs give us immunity or resistance against disease.

Typhoid fever is caused by typhoid bacteria; diphtheria by diphtheria bacteria; polio is caused by polio virus and tetanus by tetanus bacteria.

To protect a person from typhoid fever, typhoid bacteria are killed and injected into the body, as typhoid vaccine. This vaccine containing typhoid bacteria gives us immunity and resistance against typhoid fever.

Similarly, D.P.T. vaccine containing germs of diphtheria, pertussis bacteria (producing whooping cough) and tetanus bacteria, protects us from diphtheria, whooping cough and tetanus respectively.

Thus every bacterium is essential to our  bodily system, because each of them functions in our body as specific vaccine against diseases each bacterium is capable of causing. These bacteria present in our body, sustain our immunity and resistance. Hence they are indispensable to a healthy life.

Therefore, the Bacterial Theory earn the credibility to gain the status of a well conceived fact.

Now, the Second: “The Anti-bacterial theory or the antibiotic theory.”

This theory contradicts and annihilates the ‘bacterial theory’ because antibiotics kill and eliminate the presence of bacteria in our body. Once a particular bacterium is removed from the body by an antibiotics, the immunity against the disease that the particular bacterium is capable of effecting in the body, begins to fall. This fall in the resistance against the bacteria causes increased growth of the same bacteria.

Question:

How then do you account for a patients getting cured from fever due to infection, after taking antibiotics?

Normally there is an equilibrium between the vitality of an organ and the numerical strength of bacteria. When the vitality of the cellular structure of an organ becomes weak, the bacteria begin to grow faster and the equilibrium gets disturbed. This results in symptoms like pain, pus formation, fever and body pain. This is the state of infection.

Now, the antibiotics are administered to eliminate bacteria. Since the bacterial growth in excess causes the symptoms of infection, removal of bacteria causes the symptoms to subside. But what follows is the deadly consequence that allopathy is ignorant of.

When the bacteria are wiped out, the immunity we have been enjoying due to their presences and resistance against the same bacteria are destroyed thus we are exposed to more virulent and frequent infections. This explains the recurrence of symptoms with more virulence and the need for stronger antibiotics and longer cures of treatment. In this way a simple, disease is rendered chronic whether it is simple sinusitis, tonsillitis, ear infection, amoebiasis, appendicitis, bronchitis or a simple case of pimples in adolescents.

Nothing can be cured by administering antibiotics, but can only be transformed into an aggravated and chronic form.

But in practice it is exactly the opposite. Yes, we harm the patient in the first place!

For example, when we take a drug for Arthritis, Migraine or Sinus, even before the drug could have any effect on the disease, the harmful side effects of the drug begin to kill us.

This contradiction in what we read and what we find in actual clinical practice has been the reason for our dissatisfaction with Allopathic system of medicine.

Here is a related example to show the complicated results of giving a drug that seems simple. Hypertension patients are generally told to bring down their elevated blood pressure with diuretics-drugs that take water from the cells and pass it out of the system through urination.

This can lead to malnutrition combined with severe dehydration. In the view of some endocrinologists, the dehydration induced by diuretics in the presence of alcohol or tranquilizers is the leading cause of death among older Americans.

Since potassium is close to sodium in its atomic structure, the diuretic also causes it to be depleted, leading to weakness, fatigue, and leg cramps. (Less-adverse effects are gene rally noticed by the leaching of other trace elements, such as zinc and magnesium.).

In my own practice, I saw a lung-cancer patient who had lived comfortably with a coin-sized lesion in his lungs for years. He did not even suspect that it was cancerous, and since he was in his sixties, the lesion was growing quite slowly. However, as soon as I told him that the lesion was consistent with a diagnosis of lung cancer, he became terribly agitated. Within a month he started to cough up blood; within three, he was dead. It happened that after a few weeks the country went to war with a neighboring country, and all the young men of the town were forcibly taken for the military. Only the old man’s son was left because he was crippled.

The people gathered, crying and weeping, because from every house young people were forcibly taken away. And there was no possibility of their coming back, because the country that had attacked was a big country and the fight was a losing fight. They were not going to come back.

The whole town was crying and weeping, and they came to the old man and they said, `You were right, old man! God knows, you were right — this proved a blessing. Maybe your son is crippled, but still he is with you. Our sons are gone for ever. At least he is alive and with you, and, by and by, he will start walking. Maybe a little limp will be left, but he will be okay.’

The old man again said, `It is impossible to talk to you people, you go on and on and on — you go on judging. Nobody knows! Only say this: that your sons have been forced to enter into the military, into the army, and my son has not been forced. But nobody knows whether it is a blessing or a misfortune. Nobody will ever be able to know it. Only God knows.’

And when we say only God knows, it means only the Total knows. Judge ye not, otherwise you will never be able to become one with the Total. With fragments you will be obsessed, with small things you will jump to conclusions.

And Sufis are very insistent on this: that you never bother that there are things which are completely beyond you, but even about them you make judgments. Your consciousness is on a very low rung of the ladder. You live in the dark valley of misery, anguish, and from your darkest valleys of miseries you judge even a Buddha. Even a Buddha is not left without your judgment. Even a Jesus is judged by you — not only judged but crucified; judged and found guilty; judged and punished.

After fifteen days, suddenly one night, the horse returned. He had not been stolen; he had escaped to the wilderness. And not only did he come back, he brought a dozen wild horses with him.

Again the people gathered and they said, `Old man, you were right and we were wrong. It was not a misfortune, it proved to be a blessing. We are sorry that we insisted.

The old man said, `Again you are going too far. Just say that the horse is back, and say that twelve horses have come with the horse — but don’t judge. Who knows whether it is a blessing or not? It is only a fragment. Unless you know the whole story, how can you judge? You read one page of a book, how can you judge the whole book? You read a sentence in a page — how can you judge the whole page? You read a single word in a sentence — how can you judge the whole sentence? And even a single word is not in the hand — life is so vast — a fragment of a word and you have judged the whole! Don’t say that this is a blessing, nobody knows. And I am happy in my no-judgment; don’t disturb me.’

This time the people could not say much; maybe the old man was again right. So they kept silent, but inside they knew well that he was wrong. Twelve beautiful horses had come with the horse. A little training and they could all be sold and they would fetch much money.

Now let us go deep in to it.

The tension, confusion, fear, jealousy, ego, pride, worry, impatience, faithlessness, inferiority complex, anger, etc., do great harm to our mind, leading to diseases.

One of the important reasons why we get tensed, confused, afraid, etc., is, the unnecessary Judgments we have about ourselves and others.

If we learn to look at the facts without Judgments, our mind will be free from tension, confusion, fear, etc.  It will give freedom to us from the diseases we are suffering.

Here is a simple story which explains about the unnecessary Judgments we make in life.

Read this story.  Assimilate it, well.  Drop your Judgments.  And lead a disease free life.

OLD MAN’S HORSE

I will tell you a small story. It happened in the days of Lao Tzu in China, and Lao Tzu loved it very much. For generations the followers of Lao Tzu have been repeating the story and always finding more and more meaning in it. The story has grown; it has become a live factor.

The story is simple: There was an old man in a village, very poor, but even kings were jealous of him because he had a beautiful white horse. Such a horse had never been seen before — the beauty, the very grandeur, the strength. Kings asked for the horse and they offered fabulous prices, but the old man would say, `This horse is not a horse to me, he is a person, and how can you sell a person? He is a friend, he is not a possession. How can you sell a friend? No, it is not possible.’ The man was poor, there was every temptation, but he never sold the horse.

One morning, he suddenly found that the horse was not in the stable.

The whole village gathered and they said, `You foolish old man. We knew it beforehand, that some day the horse would be stolen. And you are so poor — how can you protect such a precious thing? It would have been better to sell it. You could have fetched any price you asked, any fancy price was possible. Now the horse is gone. It is a curse, a misfortune.’

The old man said, `Don’t go too far — simply say that the horse is not in the stable. This is the fact; everything else is a judgment. Whether it is a misfortune or not, how do you know? How do you judge?’

The people said, `Don’t try to befool us. We may not be great philosophers, but no philosophy is needed. It is a simple fact that a treasure has been lost, and it is a misfortune.’

The old man said, `I will stick to the fact that the stable is empty and the horse is gone. Anything else I don’t know — whether it is a misfortune or a blessing — because this is just a fragment. Who knows what is going to follow it?’

People laughed. They thought the old man had gone mad. They always knew it, that he was a little crazy; otherwise he would have sold this horse and lived in riches. But he was living like a woodcutter, and he was very old and still cutting wood and bringing the wood from the forest and selling it. He was living hand to mouth, in misery and poverty. Now it was completely certain that this man was crazy.

Allopathy (English System of Medicine) says that 90% of the diseases are Psychosomatic Disorders.

Psycho means mind.

Somatic means body.

Disorder means disease.

That is, trouble in the mind causes disease in the body.  

Here is an example as explained by Dr. Deepak Chopra, M.B.B.S., M.D., in his book: Quantum Healing.

My father is a Cardiologist in India. For many years he served as an army doctor,  which required us to move from post to post throughout the country.

While I was an infant, he was sent to Jammu, far away to the north in the state of Kashmir. I remember nothing of our stay there, but for years I heard about the terrible allergies my mother suffered in that place. Her tormentor was the pollen of a native flower that covered the ground when it blossomed every spring. It caused her to have severe asthma attacks; her body swelled, and on her skin appeared large red welts and blisters (her condition is known as angioneurotic edema).

My father is very devoted to my mother, and out of compassion he drove her every spring to Srinagar, the capital of Kashmir. The air in Srinagar is free of this particular pollen, and she was delighted to find herself in a mountain valley that is one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

One spring the heavy rains had made the road impassable, and my father decided that they should fly back home early. They boarded plane, and after an hour it touched down.

He put his hand reassuringly on my mother's arm, but he could already see the red spots on her skin and the effort it took for her just to breathe. My mother's allergy was so severe that the steward ran up and asked what was wrong.

"There's nothing you can do," my father said.
"It's the pollen in ]ammu."

"]ammu?" The steward looked puzzled. "We haven't landed there yet - this is Udhampur, our first stop. Didn't they tell you?"

My father was quite startled. When he looked at my mother, her wheezing had subsided and her sores were vanishing on the spot.

For years afterward he would shake his head and mutter, "All you have to do is say the word Jammu and your mother breaks out."
